Sachin Tendulkar To Be Seen In Mythological Flick!!!

AAAILAA......Cricket star Sachin tendulkar will be soon seen acting in a movie named Vighnahartra Shri Siddhivinayak” which is based on the powers of Sri Siddhivinayak (Lord Ganesha). The movie will have the cricketer and his wife Anjali for a brief time, performing a Pooja at the famous Siddhivinayaka temple. This will be the first time we’ll see the star acting in a film. Earlier, Sachin was seen giving a message in a movie named Stumped, but this will be the first time he’ll be actually acting in the film.

But then, after acting in so many of ads, acting in a film might not be too hard… Right??

Atleast Bachchans care for poor Harman!!!

Harman Baweja, who tops the list of most disliked people of Mrs & Mr Abhishek Bachchan, was delighted to receive a good luck note from the senior Bachchan. The news is that Amit Ji had sent a hand written good luck note to the new comer on the first day of the release of his first flick Love Story 2050. But then God knows where the note got misplaced even before it reached Harman. Poor guy was a little disappointed as he thought that the Bachchans didn’t even care to wish him luck. Only at his lady love’s birthday, the senior Bachchan asked her if Harman had received the note, which brought the whole misunderstanding to a halt. Harman then searched and searched and searched untill he found that unread, misplaced hand written note!!!Well, alls well that ends well… Isn’t it??

The Dark Knight is extraordinary, an amazing piece of filmmaking that rockets the Batman legacy to heights never imagined, fueled by Heath Ledger’s amazing re-invention of The Joker.
Story

After re-invigorating the Batman movie franchise by taking him back to his beginnings three years ago, director Christopher Nolan again tweaks the superhero movie genre and turns it on its ear with this riveting and brilliantly executed sequel. You could safely say this is The Godfather II of comic-book movies because at its dark heart it really plays like a crime movie, more L.A. Confidential than Iron Man. Joining a triumvirate to eviscerate crime in Gotham City, Batman (Christian Bale) teams with Lieutenant Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) and crusading D.A. Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) to triumph over evil. But as a true anarchist, The Joker (Heath Ledger) is unleashed by the mob and determined to cause holy bat terror for no apparent reason other than his own enjoyment. Right from the beginning, Batman and his colleagues realize they are not dealing with any rational criminal and must use all their ingenuity to combat him. The film explores the extreme damage one determined person can have on an entire society, an apt analogy to the real world where local terrorists can create havoc beyond human belief. Things also get complicated when a love triangle develops between Batman’s alter-ego Bruce Wayne, Harvey Dent (who truly has a dark side ) and Rachel Dawes (Maggie Gyllenhaal).

KISMET KONNECTION REVIEWS!!!!!!!

What you look for in KISMAT KONNECTION is the chemistry between the two lead actors, Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. What you also look for is telltale signs of a broken heart in Shahid Kapoor.

All talk of romance between Shahid and Vidya, I guess, was just a publicity gimmick to rake up interest in this flick, but Kismat, has let the producers down. The Konnection just does not work. More than having anything to do with the lead pair, I think it has everything to do with the storyline, which is so flimsy, that you fear it will snap mid-way. No novelty in the drama, no ideation put through when the two first meet, no novelty in planning the end as well. You can just guess what is coming up.

Raj (Shahid) is a struggling architect. Brilliant in his college in studies, sports and drama, he finds it tough in the real world. As luck would have it, he learns about a certain Haseena Banu Jaan (Juhi Chawla wasted in the role) who is a fortuneteller. She tells him that he will find something that will be his lucky charm. And that something happens to be a someone called Priya (Vidya Balan). Whenever Vidya is around, Shahid gets lucky. Vidya is attached to one Community Centre where the old are taken care of and Shahid is about to clinch a deal with the firm to build a shopping mall where the Community Centre exists. Somehow, Shahid manages to convince Vidya that the Community Centre will co-exist, which he knows is not the truth.

The movie shines in patches. There are a few scenes that are very well handled, but the rest is just your normal Bollywood fare. One instance is when Vidya and Shahid try to tell their feelings to each other at a party; another is when Vidya is agitating against the mall coming up. However, these scenes are few and far between.

I must admit that Manoj Bohra who plays Dev Kataria, a character with shades of grey, really stands out. In the first scene they meet, he dwarfs the rest with his personality, presence and acting. And that I think is a huge plus. This lad has a future in Bollywood.

Director Aziz Mirza will manage to rake in the initials in the first week, thanks to Vidya and Shahid, after that I fear that the connection will be lost.

Moviegoers are being treated to a new song in Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na after Aamir gave in demands of his fans on his blog.
The actor was in a dilemma over the song "Jaane Tu Mera Kya Hai " i.e in the music album, but not in the movie that is successfully launched his nephew IMRAN KHAN, a new KHAN addition to the film fraternity. It was picturised as a romantic song on Imran and his co-actor Genelia D'Souza but had been edited out of the film reel due to tension of keeping vth the film pace. But now as the film is a big hit all over the world, Aamir Khan is giving a second thought of adding it back to the film on demands of his blog fans."The response he got is overwhelming. Over 70% was in favour of the new song.And the song is now being added to this film from this friday"....
So all JAANE TU...Fans who like to watch the movie all over again with view of the new song added..wont mind to pay 100 bucks..watsay?

Singh Is Kinng, the most keenly awaited romantic comedy of 2008, revolves around a gang of crooks transformed by a good man and his selfless love for a pretty girl…

Lakhan Singh aka Lucky (Sonu Sood) is the ‘king’ of the Australian underworld accompanied by his associates (played by Javed Jaffrey, Neha Dhupia, Manoj Pahwa, Yashpal Sharma, Kamal Chopra and Sudhanshu Pande.) Far away, in a small village in Punjab, where Lucky was born, there exists someone more notorious than him – Happy Singh (Akshay Kumar). The village is fed up of his magnanimity, which has resulted in a number of hilariously disastrous situations. Out of desperation, they decide to send him on a long trip (that will keep him out of the village for a while!) to bring Lucky back to Punjab, as his despicable deeds were maligning their image in Australia.

The happy-go-lucky bumpkin, taking his mission a bit too seriously, embarks on his journey accompanied by his friend, Tony Singh (Om Puri), who hates Happy for dragging him into it.

The high point of his journey is his chance meeting with Sonia (Katrina Kaif) with whom he falls in love, but upon reaching his destination, things take a precarious turn as he runs into a series of comic misadventures, leaving him penniless. He is fortunate to find warmth and affection in an elderly lady (Kirron Kher) who helps him meet Lucky.

In a strange turn of events, an attempt on Lucky’s life is foiled by a well-intentioned Happy who fights off the attackers by risking his own life. Following the hilarious altercation, Lucky lands up in hospital paralyzed, and Happy, unexpectedly, finds the tables turned on him when he is expected to assume the role of the new ‘kinng’!

The series of chaos, shocks and comic misunderstandings that ensue eventually result in redemption and an accidental wedding!

Shot in Punjab, Australia and Egypt, Singh Is Kinng marks superstar Akshay Kumar’s re-entry into the action-comedy minefield. With plenty of romance, glamour, laugh-aloud moments and chartbusting music, it promises to be one of the most appealing and entertaining motion pictures of 2008.

It comes from Vipul Shah and Anees Bazmee, the master-makers of blockbusters like Aankhen, Waqt, Namastey London, No Entry and Welcome.

The Prince Charming of Bollywood, Shahid Kapoor's dance track 'Aye Paapi' (Tu hai meri soniye) in Kismat Konnection is rocking the charts and has become the anthem of the youth.

If 'Pappu can't dance' was the chart buster last week, 'Aye Paapi' is the flavor of the youth this week.

The young superstar is the only actor who has delivered back to back solo hits like VIVAAH and the cult classic JAB WE MET, is all set for a hat trick of solo hits, if the reports of Kismat Konnection in the trade are any indication.

Apart from the rocking dance steps choreographed by Ahmed Khan, designer Shabinaa Khan has designed the outfits for Shahid Kapoor for the chart busting track.

Says Shabinaa Khan, "The brief given required Shahid Kapoor to be dressed as a young, hip youth icon, but different and not in your face clothes. I was very clear that the outfit would not be the typically 'Filmy-night disco outfit' but very casual. Keeping that in mind, we designed his look for the song that would incorporate a shirt with a waist coat, and T-shirts and black canvas shoes. And it suited Shahid's personality to the T."

No doubt with his silken moves on the dance floor, Shahid rocks big time!!

Akshay teaches an ancient mantra!!!!

Action King of Bollywood Akshay Kumar, who is the main man of the forthcoming television show 'Fear Factor- Khatron Ke Khiladi' shared personal secret with the 13 celebrity sultry participants at South Africa.

The B-Town Khiladi told all of them a mantra to strengthen the mind and instincts and get charged up before trying out the extremely scary stunts.

Akshay recited the gayatri mantra and inspired all the 13 participants to follow the same before each of the stunts was going to be shot.

The star also told the beauties that he recites gayatri mantra every time before doing any dangerous and challenging action sequences as this calms the mind, helps in getting focused and gives mental energy to go ahead and do it.
