The utterly dedicated actor Aamir’s latest upcoming venture Ghajini has prompted him to not only go bald but also working out at the fitness centers to get the six pack abs, in short, doing up Salman Khan’s look!

Ghajini, inspired from the cult English classic, Memento, is a psychological adventure movie. Aamir Khan is in the lead role with Asin (actress from South) and Jiah Khan.

According to the media sources, Ghajini‘s lead role demanded Salman Khan looks and thus the actor could have been a better choice for character.

WTF...Kareena Kapoor declined offer of acting opposite to Johnny Depp...

Kareena Kapoor in a recent development declined offer of Gurinder Chadda of casting her against Johnny Depp in a Hollywood Production. Bebo excused the offer terming it as not productive and big in terms of acting roles she has in Bollywood movies.

However, some other sources revealed that it is the date problems that compelled Karenna to drop this idea as she is over consumed in suiting sessions with number of movies, she is doing for Bollywood.
What ever may be, the truth, yet Kareena feels herself to be far comfortable in working in Bollywood instead of part of Hollywood paternity.

Aishwarya claimed to have the most Sexiest EYES

Yet another title for Miss World and Bachchan Bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Beating her Hollywood counterparts, Ash has grabbed the title of the woman with the sexiest eyes and yes, no one can question that. American television channel E!’s Sexiest Body Parts list crowns Ash as the woman with the sexiest eyes leaving behind Hollywood icons like Angelina Jolie, Megan Fox and Scarlett Johansson. Meanwhile, Irish actor Jonathan Rhys-Myers (of Bend It Like Beckham fame) won best male eyes award.

Other winners includes Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen who won the sexiest legs award, Charlize Theron bags E!’s decolletage award with her sultry shoulders, Eva Mendes voted lovely locks, Taiwanese actress Shu Qi took away sexiest lips title. Scarlett Johansson has been voted the female celebrity with the best breasts. Actress Jessica Biels butt has topped the list of E!’s sexiest bottom and the list goes on.

Movie review.-----HEROES!!!!

Samir Karnik after two back to back flops (Kyon Ho Gaya Na and Nanhe Jaisalmer) makes a grand comeback with a Heroes, a good film that tugs your heart strings and makes you think.

It tells the story of two aimless youth Sammy (Sohail Khan) and Ali (Vatsal Sheth) who have to travel a thousand miles to deliver three letters as a part of their film school assignment. But little do they know that the journey they have embarked upon will end up giving a new meaning to their life. Unfolding in three chapters it tells peaks into the lives of Balkar Singh (Salman) and Kuljeet Kaur (Preity) in the first chapter, brothers Vikram (Sunny) and Dhananjay Shergill (Bobby) in the second chapter and that of Dr. Naqvi (Mithun) and his son Sahil (Dino) in the final chapter.

How Sammy and Ali's encounters of heroes in real life changes their attitude towards their own life and our country forms rest of the film.

It is a very good subject that doesn't involve any jingoism from our country's army men characters to prove their love for the nation. Though the opening sequences (including a mindless song) appear a little irritating, the film takes a good turn once the chapters start unfolding back to back. The culmination is the high point of the film which makes us all feel proud for country and our army men and also makes us realize at the same time that you don't have to be in the army to be a real hero. Every common person has it in him to be a Hero. The title of the film couldn't have been more apt.

Scenes between Salman and Preity, Bobby and Sunny have turned out very well. You are in tears in most of the places. This film is a pleasant surprise if you go in without any expectations. The performances by every single actor take this film above average. Salman and Preity not only look like a real couple but they are very much in character appearing real Punjabis. Sunny gets some whistle blowing moments after a long time in a Bollywood film. Bobby in a short role impresses and so do Dino and Mithun. Vatsal shows remarkable improvement as an actor post his disastrous debut in Tarzan the Wonder car. Sohail with his witty one-liners keeps you engaged and shows the transformation of his character very well. Amrita and Riya hardly have any role to speak about.

Samir Karnik deserves kudos for choosing a great subject and narrating it very well. He has very well incorporated strong emotions that bring a tear to you eyes. Don't miss this film; we are sure you will come out a changed person when you see it.

Review: ‘Drona’ a.k.a ‘Drown’a, an uninteresting legend!

Boasting of a top-notch start cast, with the likes of Abhishek Bachchan, Kay Kay Menon, Priyanka Chopra and Jaya Bachchan, the movie adheres to a stereotype filmy drama which is an amalgamation of romance, vengeance and victory over evil. Picturised on time beyond time, Drona’s world was touted to be truly beyond imagination. It must have sounded outrageously ambitious. It's a film that starts in the US, moves to the deserts of Rajasthan and makes an exit run into a never-never land where blue petals shower down on the screen creating an area of enchantment and incandescence without letting the spectacle dominate the characters.

Goldie Behl’s second directorial venture leaves a lot to be answered, it ends up being a perplexed effort which leaves the audience bamboozled! However, it still manages to create a little impact with it’s somewhat unique super hero intervention. The film is a stylised ‘fantasy flick’, with a rather experimental score set by Dhruv Ghanekar.

The story goes like this…

The warrior, Aditya (Abhishek Bachchan) is brought up by a foster family, unaware of his real identity as well as the unique destiny that awaits him. But a haunting nightmare, keeps on distressing Aditya. On the other hand, an evil sorcerer, Riz Raizada (Kay Kay Menon) is desperate to know of a deep secret – the secret, which is the missing link, in his grand plan of taking over the universe. But to know the secret, he would have to confront Drona.

Eventually, the sorcerer comes to know that Aditya is actually Drona and he starts hunting for him. Just when Drona is about to be captured, a cult that believed that Drona is a Messiah come to his rescue. Drona meets Sonia (Priyanka Chopra), leader of the cult, who reveals Aditya's real identity to him. Sonia also takes Aditya back to his place of birth, the ancient kingdom of Pratapgarh where his mother, Queen Jayanti Devi (Jaya Bachchan) would have answers to all his questions but before that Riz roughs up with them.

Aditya now has no option but to rise to the occasion and embrace his destiny. For the sake of mankind he becomes the legendary warrior he was born to be - Drona. As the clash between good and evil becomes dark and dangerous, Drona comes to know about the mysterious secret and he is all set to save the world.

Confused….?

Well, that’s what ‘Drona’ has to offer you… a hell lot of complicated twists and turns, perhaps that’s exactly where it fails to impress!

For, a Hindi film the movie no doubt has amazing visual affects and is the stuff childhood fantasies are made of. But, that’s about it.

So, Abhsihek’s been saying that he is no superhero in the flick, yet powerful and the point is hence proved because ‘Drona’ hardly ever fights! For most of the film it's his sexy guard who takes care of all the action or the evil magician who is getting the better of him.

Abhishek’s performance falls flat as he has weighty issues. Guess he should take some cue ever-so-fit wife, Aishwarya!

‘Drona’ chants mantras and i<>shlokas, lifts his sword and receives a new set of powers. The complete lack of information about what exactly are his strengths is very unimpressive.

And, the 22 crore worth villainous look for Kay Kay was just good for laughs! But the fine actor that he is, Kay Kay gives the flamboyant villainy his best shot.

Hrithik Roshan sizzles with Latin actress Barbara Mori in ‘Kites’. The film by Anurag Basu is being touted as featuring the Bollywood superhero’s most sensuous role till date.

“The two sizzle together. This is Hrithik’s most sensuous film to date. The accent here is not only on his dancing but on his ability to generate sensuality which has so far remained largely under wraps, the chemistry with Aishwarya Rai in ‘Dhoom 2′ notwithstanding. In ‘Kites’, Basu has shot another more sensuous side of Hrithik,” said a source close to the film.

According to sources, the scenes between Hrithik and Barbara were so intimate and sensuous that Rakesh Roshan would gently be asked to leave the set.

The Roshans are not talking about the film’s sensuous theme and scenes, but Roshan Sr does inform that all is smooth sailing with “Kites”.

“We are on schedule. After finishing shooting in New Mexico on Sep 12, we’ve shifted to Las Vegas. From here we’ll relocate for the last lap of the US shooting to Los Angeles on Oct 3. We’re returning to Mumbai on Oct 12,” said Rakesh Roshan.

However, there was change of guard in the crew. Cinematographer Bobby Singh opted out of “Kites”, but Hrithik claims there was no ill-will involved in the changeover.

“It was an amicable split. Now Ayananka Bose is doing it,” said Hrithik

Ayananka, who was a former assistant to the well-known cinematographer Ravi Chandran, had shot Yash Raj Films’ “Jhoom Barabar Jhoom”.

The change, says Hrithik, has made no difference to the project.

“We shifted earlier this week to Las Vegas as per plan. We’re now here in Vegas for a month. Then we shoot in Los Angeles for eight days. After that we’re done,” said Hrithik.

Kangana Ranaut, who plays the female lead in “Kites”, has just joined the Roshans and her favourite director Anurag Basu in Vegas.

After working with Kangana in “Gangster - A Love Story” and “Life… in a Metro”, Basu strongly recommended the actress to the Roshans who liked what they saw.

Priyanka to join Rani, Preity for SRK’s Rab Ne Banadi Jodi

Kajol, Priety Zinta and Rani Mukherjee are already on board as guests for Rab Ne Bana di Jodi and the latest one to join the bandwagon is Priyanka Chopra. The awesome foursome will shake themselves for a special song that will see them paying tribute to some legendary actresses like Nargis, Waheeda Rehman and others.

A source says, “Aditya had already recorded the song some months ago with Sonu Nigam. In the song, Shah Rukh Khan pays a tribute to actors like Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Shammi Kapoor, Rajesh Khanna and Rishi Kapoor. And the song will pay not only pay a tribute to the yesteryear actors and actresses but also famous singers. Sonu, who has sung the song, has paid a tribute to legendary singers like Mukesh, Rafi and Jolly Mukherjee.”

“Now Yash Raj Films has also signed Kajol, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta and Priyanka Chopra to star with Shah Rukh in the song. These leading ladies will be paying a tribute to some of the most talented actresses like Nargis, Waheeda Rehman and Sharmila Tagore. The song is one the biggest highlights of the film. The song is composed by Salim-Suleiman,” adds the source.

The news is confirmed by Yash Raj representative, he says, “Yes, some of the people you mentioned are doing something in the film. But we would not like to disclose who they are or what exactly are they doing in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi.”

Well this would surely be a song worth the wait.

Take Me As I Am says Deepika Padukone!!!

Deepika Padukone has got a lot of fame in a very short span of time. She created waves in the fashion world first where she hit the ramp and finally when she made a debut with Farha Khan’s Om Shanti Om, we know that this girl really has the X-factor.

Minissha Starved To Be Bikini Fit..!!!!!

Minissha Lamba is seen in a bikini in her latest release Kidnap. She plays a 17-something hot chic who is filthy rich. One of her favorite hobbies is of course swimming in the ocean.When Sanjay Gadhvi offered the role to Minissha, he told her that there is going to be a Bikini scene. Minissha has been fairly conservative with her roles so far this was going to be her first bikini scene. And her first reaction to this was -

“My first reaction was that I hope I have enough time to get bikini fit, because as of today, you cannot put me in a bikini and shoot. Sanjay [Gadhvi, director] gave me eight months to get into shape. He told me to trust him and that this was a fab role for me. I agreed immediately,” said Minissha

“And for that I worked out a lot and starved myself. I gave up pizzas, which I love, and chocolate cakes and beverages,” she explained.

She had complete faith in Sanjay with her bikini scene. “This is a Sanjay Gadhvi film. He is known as very stylish filmmaker. He presents his actors and actresses very well. And you know that his aesthetics are on the mark. As an actor, you have nothing to worry about. You can trust him implicitly.”

Her hard work definitely shows on her body… she looks absolutely fab!
